TOYS

What was your favorite toy as a kid?  Mine?  I thought it was Star Wars figures.  My sisters Barbies?  Then I thought it was my Baseball Cards!  Are pictures of Rod Carew and Jose Canseco, ya before, when he had ten fingers, considered toys?  Perhaps my mind is lost with random thouhts because it's two o'clock in the morning and I'm thinking of this?  Instantly clouds parted, Canseco's finger and naked Barbies dissapeared...It's Hot Wheels Bill!  Duh.
Ya, my favorite toy was ninety nine cents thirty seven years ago and still...ninety nine cents.  See, proof, there is not really inflation!  Just a made up word from the goverment to scare us.
My Mother would give my sister and I a hundered bucks in Sept/Oct for us to buy our own Christmas gifts. That she then wrapped up and were "lost" in the house till December 25th.  I'd sometimes spend fifty bucks on these two and a half inches of metal with plastic tires.  Honeslty.  I'd spit on my fingers and make roads in the dirt with three fingers.  I'd create car chases.  I'd smash them with a hammer, just cause.  I'd light them on fire and hope everyone gets out ok.  And my sister would lick the bottom of em' cause she liked the taste of dirt!  My/Our favorite toy.  A dose of gratitude Mr. Elliot Handler.  R.I.P.

Mine was jump rope, jacks and barbies. My brothers would always steal my barbies or any kind of doll my sis n I would have and hang them from our door. The. joys of childhood.
